I was born the way I was
From the start from the start
I was torn the way I was
From the start from the start from the start
And they tell me
I'll go easy
I'll go fragile
Free from the way I'll be
If I only open up my heart
I am worn in a way I love
It's my art it's my art
I am horned in a way I love
It's my art it's my art my art
And I don't need a hero
I don't need to know your name
Oh, but I don't need a hero
I don't need to play this game

Towers

I can be your heart
I can be your man your woman
You don't have to need me
And I often think you shouldn't
Tell me is this a war
Tell me is this a ruse
Making something out of nothing
Trying to catch the cues
I never knew before
That you'd stand me up so tall
It was just the start of another purple evening
We were sat above a sea of unknown lovers dreaming
I was this youngest child
You were an orphaned son
All of it was it is and what it had become
You held out your hand like a guide unto adventure
A simple seldom spark gleamed behind your eyes in pleasure
Tell me is this true love
Tell me is this a game
Running over rooftops in a city with no name
I never knew before
That you'd stand me up so tall

Yours Truly
03:15
|
|||
On the precipice of what it was and what it is
A version of the very bliss
That made me call you close to me
It’s quite precarious to be the master of the mix
A feature of coincidence
Something appears so suddenly
Always on
my mind
You could even stay here
Glory to our love
Our days are numbered surely
In reverie you are always,
Always in reverie
I don’t need a pill to see you right in front of me
A phantom of what used to be
A vision of a mystery
For every time that you appear I feel it in the way I breathe
A fearful love that’s haunting me
A place that feels like home

Hey pretty baby won’t you call my name
Gonna give you somethin’ and it ain’t quite tame
Hey tell me something have you caught my cues
I really wanna tell you that I’m into you
What do I do?
I like the way you talk so much
We should keep in touch
The way you look at me is clutch
I wanna feel the rush
Hey pretty darling won’t you laugh with me
I’m not the only thing that I want you to see
Come along with me
This game has got me playin’ but it’s all for keeps
I really wish I felt that you were within reach
Come closer to me
I like the way you talk so much
We should keep in touch
The way you look at me is clutch
I wanna feel the rush

All My Life
03:54
|
|||
Looking for some time to kill among us
Waiting for the time to split between
All my life
Passes me by
I will wait
'til Saturday to say I'm lonely I love you
You were always dressed in plain black tshirts
To me they look the robes of royalty
I was always seeking something better
And you always seemed better to me
All my life
Passes me by
I will wait
'til Saturday to say I'm lonely I love you
I was always told divide and conquer
To conquer you would be a fantasy
I can not be taken for my own word
For words mean nothing without honesty
I am nothing except maybe human
A being made to walk among the crowd
I was not created within reason
Yet still there seems to be a reason found

Elevator up two floors
Saw him in the corridor
Pretending he can ignore
The way your legs move
Hit ‘em with the winds of time
Taking back to days outlined
By something of a counter rhyme
A special place where one can read the night
You have been host of a million stars
You’re on a deadline and it isn’t too far
You’re painting will on the side of the road
But he can’t even see you
Oh you’re invisible
It’s true, it’s a signal
A bleeding heart and a flame that’s rekindled
Regroup and rewire
A broken circuit here to make an example
Hide your face, and hide your skin
He can’t be your existence
Mark your name on a new wall
I’m waiting for your call
